Many of you know that I have a huge love for animals and some may think I’m a crazy cat lady (it’s true I am). So last week when I was given the opportunity to purchase puppy prep kit supplies I jumped at the chance although I do not have a puppy (or dog for that matter) I do have a little piece of my heart that belongs to all those poor homeless animals in shelters. The fact that many around the country (& world) will be spending the holidays without families is truly heart breaking. I personally feel as though our pets are as much of a part of our family as humans are. So with the fact that I spoil my fur babies I thought this would be a great chance to spoil those who aren’t as fortunate to have a family.
To prep for this fun shopping adventure I cut out my coupons then headed to where prices are always low {Walmart} to do all my shopping.
I found all the supplies to spoil puppies without a problem and was very surprised to find the variety of treats and toys they offer. They even have Christmas stocking filled with fun toys for dogs and cats for only $4.97!
With my stack of coupons in hand I searched the dog treats section looking for the best deal. Turned out all my preparation went out the window when I found a peelie coupon right on the Milk-Bone® box. It was for $2 off when you bought (1) one box of Milk-Bone® treats and (1) one bag of Milo’s Kitchen treats OR (1) one bag of Pup-Peroni treats! Needless to say I reorganized my coupon shopping and grabbed a couple boxes with this great peelie coupon.
Now since this is a Christmas surprise for the pups I can’t show you everything I purchased… yet. {Another post will come closer to Christmas revealing the pups & their gifts} However here is a little sneak peek of their Christmas gifts {someone was a little jealous, even though I don’t think he would know what to do with a dog treat.}
