Whether we are heading out to the pool, the splash pad, or just outside to play, I always have my Coppertone Water Babies lotion handy. With living in the southwest, the sun can be pretty brutal on all our skin, and Coppertone has always provided my family with exceptional UVA/UVB protection. I started buying Coppertone when Dinogirl was just a baby, and have never bought another brand. I love that Coppertone offers a very high SPF (50-75+ SPF) to help protect my babies’ delicate skin, and it never leaves their skin feeling greasy, and is always waterproof.
This was the first time we have every tried Coppertone Water Babies Delicate Foaming Lotion, I normally either buy the spray or just the lotion types. I really liked the foam; it comes out like mousse and foams in your hands. You know the saying, A little goes along way! Well it is very much true when using Coppertone Foaming Lotion! You just need a little bit of foam to cover a large area of skin! When I went to use it for the very first time, I squeezed the trigger and a lot came out (enough to cover both Dinogirl and Sir Buddy).
Both Dinogirl and Sir Buddy thought the foam was so hilarious! Dinogirl, “it looks like whipped cream!” Dinogirl and Sir Buddy both loved putting it on and rubbing it into their skin, a plus for a very active toddler who is normally running when I am trying to apply the lotion! I loved that with the foaming lotion, you had to make sure you rubbed it on the skin, meaning I knew that their skin was being properly covered. Sometimes when I am using the spray, especially with Sir Buddy I am not sure if I applied enough…and I always feel like I need to reapply, to just make sure I got every area.
A couple of recommendations when using the foam are that you do not want to use it on a carpeted area, I learned the hard way. I went to spray it into my hand, and it sprayed ALL over. I had foam on the wall, on the carpet, on me, and on the kiddos. It came off quickly and easily but just to be safe I would recommend using it on tile or even using it outdoors. Also, I never apply the foam directly onto my kiddo’s faces. While using the foam I was able to apply it to my hand and then gently rub it on their faces. Coppertone Water Babies Delicate Foaming Lotion does not state on the bottle that it is tear free, and recommends that you apply the foam to your hands and then carefully apply to the face.
Overall, we really liked using Coppertone Water Babies Delicate Foaming Lotion. I love that ALL Coppertone products offer (including the foam) a high SPF to help protect their delicate skin. I also love that it doesn’t leave their skin feeling greasy and most of all I liked that the kiddos could help use it. We were a hit at the pool once all the kiddos noticed the foam, and wanted to try it out… I really do not have a preference on which type of Coppertone I use (the lotion, the spray, or the foam). All Coppertone products in my own opinion work great!

I did not know they have a foam. That is a great idea and I would love to try it on my little guy!
We really liked the foam also!
I had never heard of this before, but it looks awesome. I’m going to have to check this out!
I like when they make products easier to use with children.
I bet this is so much easier to use than the lotion. We had a hard time getting it to rub on enough last time with used the water babies.
