Do you have a Disney Princess fan in your household? We sure do! So we were excited to recently hear about the free princess app from Disney. The Disney Princess Royal Ball app is fun, interactive and perfect for your little princess {or prince}.

When you first click on the app you are taken through an intro before arriving at the landing page. On the landing page you are given three choices of what to do: design your princess outfit, make your own custom carriage, and head to the royal ball. In order to head to the royal ball you must first design your princess outfit.{of course} The fun thing about this is not only do you get to design your outfit using dresses & accessories from Disney princesses but once your done you can take a picture of your child wearing it.

Next it’s time to design your own custom carriage to ride in to the royal ball. This was fun since you can mix and match different styles to make your perfect one. After it’s complete you can also take your picture inside the carriage. Miss. A took a picture of Henry James {our cat} even riding in it. {haha}

Once you have designed your perfect princess outfit and carriage it is time to head to the ball. This was by far the family favorite. Even though my degree is in technology I am still amazed by the awesomely fun things devices and apps can do. The kiddos were able dance around the room and the screen recognized that they were dancing so the screen changed in the directions they moved. {Really neat! huh?!} Even as an adult I enjoyed sitting with Miss.A playing this fun new app with her.

Need a second opinion before you download the app? Here is Miss. A’s mini review…

“I’m Miss.A and I love Disney Princess Royal Ball app! It was free yay! You could actually dance with your iPad or iPhone. You could make your own princess with the app. I did! I put my face in the princess and I was a princess without buying any princess costumes. No money yay! Although I do have some princess costumes. Oh and you can make your own carriage so you can ride in it to the royal ball. I loved that app, only one thing I didn’t like about it was when I danced and twirled, I felt dizzy. But besides all that it was amazing! We turned King Henry James {the cat} into a royal princess. He was so beautiful! Even Mr.N wanted to try it even though he’s a boy. So this is what I thought of he app… amazing fantastic and a dream come true to be a princess. They had princess’s like Snow White, Cinderella, Bell and more! I think this app would be perfect for any wanna be dream come true princess, like ages 3 and up. Even though I’m 10 I love this app so much. And here’s a secret I wanna be a princess even though I’m 10. And on the outside I’m all cool and don’t like princesses but on the inside I love them so much! I want to be Ariel!”

After playing with the app this got Miss.A inspired to start her {second} Christmas list. Which of course included princess items. {to see a whole list of Disney items visit walmart.com}  So once the list was in hand I headed to Walmart to do some last minute Christmas shopping this week. {To come along on the adventure check out my google plus story here.} The number one item on the list was the Mattel Cinderella MagiClip Castle plus another big item! However you will have to wait till next week to see more of what was purchased and more.
